Our services:
Machining
Our facility is equipped with a LeBlond lathe capable of turning parts up to 19 inches in diameter and up to 54 inches in length. Shorter parts up to 27 inches in diameter and longer parts less than 1-3/4 inches in diameter are also possible by utilizing either the gap bed capability or the spindle bore. We have a standard knee type milling machine with a 9x42 bed.
screw machine parts
Our Brown & Sharpe 0G screw machine allows us to efficiently produce small precision parts in volume. Ideal for repeat runs and high-accuracy components, it combines proven mechanical reliability and efficiency to deliver consistent results part after part.
repair work
From tattoo machines to tractors, repair work is where our experience and problem-solving come together. Whether it’s boring and bushing, rebuilding worn components, or fabricating replacements from scratch, we take pride in every challenge. Have a redesign in mind? We can bring it to life. At Fairchild Toolworks our capabilities are defined by creativity, not limits.
welding
We’re set up for MIG, TIG, and stick welding, and we’re ready to take on most fabrication and repair jobs. Our primary focus is welding steel, but we are capable of other alloys as well.
Fabrication
Our combination of manual machining, screw machine production, welding capabilities, and 3D design tools allows us to handle nearly any fabrication challenge. Whether it’s a one-off repair, a prototype, or a full production run, we have the equipment and expertise to deliver complete solutions.
3d design and manufacturing consultation
The first time I needed machined parts, I found it so difficult and unreasonably expensive that I wound up buying my own milling machine. We offer 3D design services using Fusion 360, along with consultation on manufacturability and process optimization. Whether you’re developing a new part or refining an existing design, we can help identify potential challenges and suggest practical ways to simplify production.
