When I first relocated to Havelock, I had some difficulty finding regional suppliers for raw materials and hardware. Here are some of the places that I’ve found.

An incredibly diverse selection of new, surplus, and used metal. They stock structural pipe, perforated sheets, and expanded metal. Known for their "half price of new" surplus section which includes angles, channels, and tubing. The used selection of stainless, aluminum, copper, and brass is the best in the region.

A dependable source for hot rolled carbon steel, with some stainless and aluminum. They feature an extensive inventory of structural shapes and have a notable drop yard for smaller structural pieces. They also have an array of pipe fittings and fasteners.

Primarily a hot rolled steel supplier. They offer structural steel fabrication services and maintain a browseable drop area for smaller projects and remnants.

They are a primary supplier for the region with next-day UPS ground delivery to Havelock. They carry a massive selection of specialized alloys, titanium, and racing-grade aluminum at competitive prices.

Description: A local staple for heavy-duty truck parts and welding supplies. While primarily a service and parts center, they sell steel stock and are a convenient local option for basic metal needs and hardware. They carry a wide selection of hydraulic fittings.
